Our nurse is responsible for providing the following services;
– Childhood Immunisations,
– Routine and holiday vaccinations,
– Asthma & COPD advice, reviews and check-ups,
– Diabetic advice, reviews and check-ups,
– Blood pressure checks,
– General health advice,
– Smoking advice,
– Family planning,
– Diet advice,
– General health advice,
– Dressings,
– Cervical screening.

Asthmatics and diabetics needing urgent attention are asked to telephone as soon as possible.

Attending at the first sign of trouble may avoid the need for hospital admission or the use of more powerful drugs.

Seeing patients urgently, may result in appointments running late and your patience is appreciated if this affects you.

The District nursing service is on hand to treat the housebound, patients in need of dressings and post op care.
